Welcome to UK Lottery Results

The National Lottery is the largest lottery in the United Kingdom. Around 6 million people in the UK play the lottery and eagerly check the UK lottery results each week. Millions of pounds are spent each week as players pay £1 or more for their dream; that little bit of hope that there is a better life out there that could be theirs. Luxurious holidays. Fast cars. Expensive jewellery. Holiday homes. These are all fantasies for the average person and are to only be viewed in celebrity magazines or on Cribs. But what if that dream did come true? What if it was you? You have to be in it to win it, right?

What is so surprising is that a huge amount of winning tickets go unclaimed. If you have paid for your little piece of hope for this better life you dream of, why would you not check the UK Lottery results? Winning tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the draw taking place. If a prize is unclaimed within that time, it is distributed through the Lotto’s Good Causes fund. The highest unclaimed prize distributed this way to date was a winning ticket worth £9,476,995 which expired at 17.30 GMT on Monday, 2 January 2006. This ticket was in fact the 24th prize in excess of one million pounds to be unclaimed!

So it is no wonder that a huge amount of people check the UK Lottery Results on a regular basis.

So let’s take a look into how this dream came about.

The UK Lottery is operated by Camelot Group, to whom the licence was granted in 1994, 2001 and again in 2007. The lottery is regulated by The National Lottery Commission. The National Lottery undertook a major rebranding programme in 2002 designed to combat falling sales. This resulted in the main game being renamed Lotto. And with the rebranding came a number of other games:

However, the games as a collective are still known as The National Lottery. It is one of the most popular forms of gambling in the United Kingdom.

But when you actually stop and think about it, it is strange to think that so many people play the UK Lottery when the chances of winning life-changing amounts are extremely small. For example, there is apparently a 1 in 200 chance of dying on UK roads. Considering your chance of winning Lotto is 1 in 14 million, that means you are 65000 times more likely to die on the road than winning the lottery. Now that’s a depressing thought!

Create Your Own Winning Lottery Numbers!

But why pin your hopes on a 1 in 14 million chance? You are better off focusing your efforts into something that is much more likely to deliver the rewards you seek. You may or may not be aware but thousands of people are using the power of the internet to create a very substantial income. And you can too.

If you have the drive, the determination and are willing to learn the skills to make money using the internet, then you can take control of your life by simply taking matters into your own hands and not just relying on your lucky numbers coming in.

Odds Of Winning Euromillions

With approx 6 million people playing the Euromillions each week, there are a huge amount of players continuously checking the Euromillions results. There are a few ways of checking the Euromillions results. The easiest way is for those that play Euromillions online because the winners automatically get alerted via email if the Euromillions results match their numbers. However, those that do not play online will have to watch the Euromillions results as they are drawn on the TV (or find them on the internet or on teletext if they did not watch the live show) and then manually check the results against their numbers. This can be very time consuming, especially if they have bought a number of lines. When checking the Euromillions results, it is important to remember to check the results for the Millionaire Raffle too.

So what are the chances of the Euromillions results bringing a win?

  • 2 main number and 1 lucky star =  1 in 39
  • 1 main number and 2 lucky stars = 1 in 103
  • 3 main number and 0 lucky stars = 1 in 367
  • 2 main number and 2 lucky stars = 1 in 538
  • 3 main number and 1 lucky stars = 1 in 551
  • 3 main number and 2 lucky stars = 1 in 7,705
  • 4 main number and 0 lucky stars = 1 in 16, 143
  • 4 main number and 1 lucky stars = 1 in 24,215
  • 4 main number and 2 lucky stars = 1 in 339,002
  • 5 main number and 0 lucky stars = 1 in 3,632,160
  • 5 main number and 1 lucky stars = 1 in 5,448,240
  • 5 main number and 2 lucky stars = 1 in 76,275,360
  • The odds of winning any prize at all are 1 in 24.
  • The odds of getting none of the 50 main balls but getting both lucky stars is approximately 1 in 62. This means that it is less likely than getting 2 main balls and one lucky star (1 in 39). However, there is no prize for only getting 2 lucky stars.

So there you have it. The odds of hitting the big-time money is very small but you’ve got to be in it to win and, and you never know…it could be you!

The UK Millionaire Raffle is a new addition and was added to the Euromillions draw in November 2009. In fact it the Millionaire Raffle is exclusive to the UK following extensive research with UK players into what they would like to see in the UK. The results showed that UK players love the excitement of big jackpots and more chances for there to be UK winners.

With the new draw came a rise of the cost to play Euromillions from £1.50 to £2. The 50p increase was to cover the cost of the extra £1million payout each week.

As with any raffle, the odds of winning depends on the number of people that enter the draw. But the odds of winning the Millionaire Raffle are around 1 in 6million. Although these odds are nowhere near as high as those of winning the Euromillions jackpot (which are 1 in 76million) the chances are still pretty slim. However, every so often it is announced that the Millionaire Raffle results will consist of multiple draws.

For example, 10 new UK millionaires were created on 12th November 2010 and 25 new UK millionaire were created on 24th December 2010 when there were 10 and 25 Millionaire Raffle results drawn, respectively. Now that’s more like it!
